We have sorted you THE place to come and stay at Hay Festival this coming May….
We are delighted to be offering some really top quality yurts down by the river, just a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Hay! Fully furnished, with clean white bedlinen, your own parking, and a place to hang out, this is going to be a really lovely home from home. We provide compost toilets, showers and also BREAKFAST! There's talk of a party, a pop-up restaurant, some wagons…. lovely bell tents, the circus…. and YURTS for you lovely peeps coming to the borders at the end of May. On a per head, per night basis, let us cater to your needs……

We have teamed up with Blue Bell Tents to provide something extra special… some lovely well-furnished yurts, made by my very self in Herefordshire.
These yurts will sell out fast and so if you are interested, then you are advised to book asap, especially for the weekends.
How do I book?
Via PayPal. Please include the festival or private function, dates and the number of people when making the PayPal transaction. PayPal transaction fee is included in the price.

You are advised to check availability before booking especially as we get nearer to the event. Bookings will be confirmed via email from yurt events.
Prices
Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs nights: £55 per person per night
Fri/Sat/Sun: £65 per person per night.
Children under 14 £45 per night.
Reqirements
Max 6, min 2 people to each yurt.
All weekend bookings require a minimum booking of two nights.
Ring with your requirements and we will be glad to do what we can to accommodate you. Extra beds can be arranged as long as they are still available.

Where are they?
Just 2 mins walk from the centre of Hay! over the bridge and take a left… past Bob's windmills… by the River…..It could not be easier. Yurt are available from 2pm each day Check out time is 11am If you need to arrive late etc, please let us know to make sure that we will be there to greet you!
What do we give you?
Your own yurt, furnished with futons, clean white bed linen including duvets and other soft furnishings. Fitted canvas covers, fitted heavy duty groundsheet, carpet, table, shelves, a mirror, lanterns, doormat and a lockable wooden door!
We also provide a breakfast of museli, croissants, tea and coffee, and parking too.
Site facilities include ample compost loos and hot showers. There is also a tap and sink to fill your water bottle from. Breakfast is served from 8.30-9.30 am

Beds (single or double) are futons or similar, with flat wooden frames and come with clean bed linen; sheets and pillows. Cushions, mirror, a bedside table, shelves, lanterns and well chosen surprise treats to keep the wolf from the door come as standard.
Extra furnishings can be arranged depending on your needs… We can offer a luxury wedding service, wood burners, tea-making and music stations to plug your mp3 player into, massage beds, sofas, wooden flooring.

Yurts can come in almost any size. They provide airy, light, shady spaces in the summer, and cosy, warm, womb-like havens of cosiness in the winter.
The frames are hand-made from coppiced ash and sweet chestnut, cleaved and draw-knifed by hand and then steam-bent, finished and oiled using linseed oil, thinned with natural citrus thinners. The door-frames and wheels are made to a very high quality, involving input from other very well experienced cabinet makers and yurt builders. The walls are sturdy, useful for hanging your bags on, and for leaning against when relaxing.
